Terms of Use

By creating an account, making a reservation, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by sending a notice to the email address associated with your account. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Service. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@table214.com of any unauthorised use of your account.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations.
• Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its related systems, or networks.

The Service enables you to discover restaurants and make dining reservations. TABLE214 acts as an intermediary between you and participating restaurants. We do not operate restaurants and are not party to the dining transaction between you and a restaurant. Each restaurant may have its own cancellation, no-show, and deposit policies, which will be presented to you before confirming a reservation.

Cancellation and no-show policies are set by individual restaurants. Some restaurants may charge a fee for late cancellations or no-shows. You are responsible for reviewing and complying with the restaurant’s policy at the time of booking. TABLE214 is not liable for any charges imposed by restaurants under their cancellation or no-show policies.

The Service may allow you to submit reviews, ratings, photographs, and other content (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant ConviOne a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to grant this licence and that your User Content does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights or violate any applicable law.

You agree not to submit User Content that is defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or that promotes illegal activity. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find objectionable for any reason, without prior notice.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ConviOne and are protected by Dutch and international intellectual property laws. The TABLE214 name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of ConviOne. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written consent.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services. These links are provided for your convenience. We have no control over the content or practices of those sites and accept no responsibility for them. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in our Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time through the cookie settings panel.

Access to the core guest features of the Service is free. Certain premium features or partner programmes may carry fees, which will be clearly disclosed before any charge is made. All fees are stated in euros unless otherwise indicated and include applicable VAT where required.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConviOne and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) EUR 100 or (b) the total amount you have paid to ConviOne in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConviOne and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve any dispute with us informally by contacting legal@table214.com. We will try to resolve the dispute within 30 days. If we cannot, either party may proceed to formal legal proceedings as set out in the Governing Law section.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ConviOne regarding the Service and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, written or oral, concerning the subject matter.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of that right or provision. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations hereunder, without our prior written consent. ConviOne may assign these Terms without restriction. These Terms inure to the benefit of and are binding upon the parties and their permitted successors and assigns.

Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance under these Terms to the extent such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond that party’s reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labour disputes, or internet outages.

All notices and communications under these Terms shall be in writing (including email). Notices to ConviOne should be sent to legal@table214.com or by post to ConviOne, Herengracht 206, 1016 BS Amsterdam, Netherlands. Notices to you will be sent to the email address on your account.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you may have additional rights under applicable consumer protection legislation. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any rights you have under such legislation that cannot be limited by agreement.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us an unrestricted, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use and incorporate such feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.

We may offer beta or experimental features that are not yet generally available. Such features are provided “as is” without warranty and may be discontinued at any time. Your use of beta features is governed by any additional terms presented at the time of activation.

Restaurants listed on the Service are independent businesses. We are not responsible for the food quality, service, hygiene, or conduct of any restaurant. If you experience a problem at a restaurant, please contact us at support@table214.com and we will investigate.

You may not use bots, scrapers, crawlers, or other automated tools to access or interact with the Service without our prior written permission. Automated access may result in permanent suspension of your account and, where applicable, legal action.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree not to share your password with third parties and to use a strong, unique password. We use industry-standard security measures to protect the Service but cannot guarantee absolute security. You agree to notify us immediately of any suspected security breach.

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you become aware that a child under 16 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@table214.com so that we can take appropriate action.

You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations in connection with your use of the Service, including export control laws and regulations. You represent and warrant that you are not located in, or a national or resident of, any country subject to a Dutch or EU trade embargo or sanctions programme.

These Terms are written in English. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail.
